Terms of use
Using PickleInjury means agreeing to these terms. They are short because the site's promises are simple: education, honestly sourced, that never pretends to be medical care.
Using this site
PickleInjury exists for educational purposes: to explain pickleball injuries, recovery frameworks, and prevention in plain language. You may read, print, and share pages for personal, non-commercial use. The site is provided as is, and while we work to keep it accurate and available, we do not promise either at every moment.
Medical information limits
Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and reading it creates no physician-patient relationship with anyone, including the reviewing physician. The medical disclaimer is part of these terms and controls on this subject. When site content and your own physician disagree, your physician wins, every time, because your physician has examined you and a website has not.
The tools
The readiness check, grip size estimator, and playability index share one rule, stated on each of them: This tool is for education only. It does not diagnose any condition and does not replace an evaluation by a physician. Tool output is a starting point for your own judgment and your clinician's, never a clearance, a prescription, or a guarantee about weather, courts, or bodies.
Your responsibilities
Acceptable use is ordinary use. Do not scrape the site at abusive volume, probe or overload the forms and endpoints, submit content you have no right to send, or use the forms to transmit personal medical details, which they are built to refuse. Physical sport carries inherent risk, and decisions about whether and how you play remain yours.
Our content
The writing, illustrations, tools, and design of this site belong to PickleInjury, except the cited studies and third party services, which belong to their authors and operators. Quote with attribution and a link. Do not republish whole pages, pass the content off as your own, or use it to train a product that pretends to be a doctor.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, PickleInjury and the people behind it are not liable for damages arising from use of this site, its tools, or its content. That includes decisions made from educational information and tool output. Some jurisdictions limit such limitations, so parts of this clause may not apply to you.
Third party services and links
The site names and links outside services, from the studies it cites to the weather data behind the playability tool. Those belong to their operators, run under their own terms, and can change or vanish without our knowledge. A link here is a pointer, not an endorsement of everything at the other end. If one clause of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stand.
Changes, governing law, and contact
These terms may change as the site grows; the effective date below moves when they do, and continued use after a change accepts it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Questions go through the contact page, and the privacy policy covers data. Effective date: July 5, 2026.
